Como sistema de retratação do mundo que me rodeia, a fotografia assume um papel de mera captação de imagens, que podem ser belas, que apelam aos meus sentidos, mas que esteticamente não me interessam significativamente.
Pelo contrário, gosto de fotografar o que olho mas não vejo e que só a máquina fotográfica me consegue desvendar. Só nela consigo descobrir o que não posso contemplar de outra forma.
As minhas criações, aquelas que, de facto, me agradam do ponto de vista da estética que lhes está subjacente, revelam um mundo que, sendo o que me rodeia, só é visível no produto da minha câmara.
São estas o “core business” da minha fotografia e são estas que eu aqui mostro.

As a system of retraction of the world that surrounds me, photography assumes a paper of mere captivation of images, which can be beautiful, which appeal to my senses, but which aesthetically do not interest me significantly.
My creations, the ones that in fact please me from the point of view of the aesthetics that they is underlying, reveal a world that, being what surrounds me, its only visible in the product of my camera.
On the contrary, I like photographing what I look at but that only the camera manages to show to me. Only in it I discover what I cannot see otherwise.
